Child Safety Standards

GathrRound is an app for planning events with friends, run by Timothy Hahn. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everyone who uses GathrRound and to everything shared in it.

What is not allowed

GathrRound may never be used to create, share, request, or link to anything that sexually exploits or endangers children. This includes, and is not limited to:

• child sexual abuse material of any kind, including drawn, edited, or AI-generated material;
• sexualized content involving a minor, or sexual comments about a minor;
• grooming: building a relationship with a minor in order to exploit or abuse them;
• asking a minor for sexual content or contact, or sextortion (threats to share intimate images);
• trafficking of a child, or advertising or arranging any of the above;
• using events, groups, or chats to arrange contact with a minor for any of these purposes.

The same is set out in our Terms of Service, which prohibit anything that exploits or endangers children.

Who can use GathrRound

You must be at least 13 years old to use GathrRound, and confirm this when you sign up. GathrRound is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that someone under 13 has an account, we delete it.

How to report

• In the app: open a person's profile and tap Report; press and hold a chat message and tap Report; or tap Report this event at the bottom of an event. You can also Block anyone from their profile.
• By email: info@gathrround.com. You don't need an account to report.

Reports are private. The person you report is not told who reported them. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

What we do

• We review every report, and aim to do so within 24 hours.
• When we become aware of CSAM or other CSAE, we remove it and permanently close the accounts responsible.
• We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and to law enforcement or other authorities as the law requires, and we keep the related information as the law requires.
• We cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement.
